Karl Noivadhana
lives and breathes soccer. His passion for the sport began in Thailand
where he played throughout his childhood. He continued to play for
two years in a junior college in Oklahoma before transferring to
Temple University on a soccer scholarship and was Captain of the
team during his senior year. Also was voted a member of the All
East Middle Atlantic Conference. He played on the Connecticut Premier
League before retiring 16 years ago to pass his passion for the
game on to children through coaching.
Karl has been
coaching for the past 14 years at all levels of youth organizations.
He was a board member of Wilton Soccer Association and Director
of coaching and players development. His biggest accomplishment
was that his teams won U-9 Girls State Championship and U-16 Girls
State and Regional championships.
It is Karl's
dream to share his enthusiasm for soccer with others. The construction
and operation of the Connecticut Sports Complex will provide and
opportunity for organized team competition and children development
that is not currently available in this area. His philosophy centers
around the belief that playing soccer not only keeps an individual
physical fit, but mentally as well. Soccer, like any team sport,
foster camaraderie and the players build their self-esteem as they
amass skills.
